Our members receive discounted and/or FREE playdates at children's favorite venues including: The Play Boutique, Gymboree & The Little Gym.
We also offer great deals through our membership card program. Local businesses including ClubSport, Heaven's Best Carpet Cleaning, Sit Still Hair Saloon and more typically offer a 10-20% discount. Newsletter & Special Interests
We offer our members an informative monthly newsletter with articles on local topics of interest. Our calendar of events provides activities for both mothers and children. Several times a year our newsletter includes popular supplements such as our extensive list of local parks, summer camps for ages under 5, and the best things to do for the holidays.
Weekly Activities
We provide weekly activities for moms and kids. These activities are scheduled for mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Activities range from classes at The Little Gym or a martial arts studio to meeting for a playdate at Gymboree, OMSI, or The PLAY Boutique. Each month we schedule a Moms Night Out. If that doesn't interest you how about trying one of our sub clubs. We have a Book Club, Walking Club, Movie Club, Cooking Club, Scrap booking Club and more.
Playgroups
The Playgroups are coordinated based on children’s ages and families schedules. Members have access to the list to choose one for themselves or our playgroup coordinator is available to help. If you don't see a group that fits your schedule we are happy to help you create a new one.
Monthly Socials
Come and join us one afternoon a month at The PLAY Boutique for a FREE social. Its a great place to meet new moms and other kids. We also offer a monthly morning social Lake Oswego's West End Building. Check out our monthly newsletters for times and dates.
Sub Clubs
Sub Clubs are special interest gatherings including Book Club, Scrap booking, Cooking Club, Movie Club, Walking Club, and more. If you don't see something you like, then how about starting your own sub club. All it takes is some imagination!
Seasonal Events
The Lake Oswego Mothers Club enjoys participating our city's seasonal events. We march in the Lake Oswego 4th of July parade, host activity booths at the city's summer Kid Fest and Farmers Market, provide treats for the Fall Harvest Festival, and set up Giving Trees in local stores during the Christmas season.
In A Pinch
We have a wonderful program called "In A Pinch" where our volunteers support our members by providing meals when babies are born, kids are sick, or families are in need.
Members Only Site
Our members enjoy a member only website with a secure log in and password. Within this site members are able to communicate to the entire club, a particular sub club or just their playgroup. Members can access each others contact information, post pictures from the latest event, or look up resources like other members suggestions for a pediatric dentist.
List of Resources
Our members have great advice when it comes to resources in Lake Oswego and the surrounding area. We publishes lists of local preschools, summer camps, indoor play gyms, parks, swimming pools, and much more and make them available through our newsletter, newsletter supplements, or lists on our member only website.
Moms Night Out
Each month we schedule an event that moms can attend without their children. Each event is unique and caters towards moms. We have offered wine and chocolates tastings, manicure/pedicures, movie nights, comedy clubs and simply meeting for happy hour. We are always open to new ideas so come and join us!
